What happens when I use a dialup connection?
Our Community Network page uses Google Maps. Initial loading time for Google Maps, using a dial-up connection, may take several minutes. Navigating The Community Networs is then fast and easy. Any changes, such as zooming, changing location, or switching from Map to the Terrain or Satellite will require new maps from Google which may take additional loading time.
How do I post something?
It's easy - Click on "Connect"menu item and simply fill in the form. For our internal verification, you will need a current email address and street address.
Is my information secure if I sign up on this website?
This is a light security site. Please do not share any financial account information on this site. We require no personal information other than your email, and an address. We do not collect/share/sell any of your personal information.
How long does a post last?
You may select how many days your post will last from 1 days up to 2 weeks. You can re-post the same item after the two week period.
Can I edit my post once I've submitted it?
If you are a subscriber you may modify or update your post as desired (contact us for more information info@transitionmendocinococoast.org). As a user, you will not be able to edit your post once it is submitted.
I would like to post but don't want to give out my street address.
On the "Connect" page if you click on the "Generalize" check box your address will NOT be published and the pin on the map will be placed in your general area, not on your address. Note: an address is required for verification purposes when creating your post, but this information is not made public.
